According to the government plan, the money of support will be delivered to the family member or housewife, which will play a role in empowerment of women.
According to the Ministry of Social Welfare, the amount of support under this card will be more than other social allowances existing.
Application process and information collection:
By creating a central database, every family’s data will be saved based on national identity card. This will reduce irregularities and mediation in the distribution of aid.
This program will start primarily as a pilot project in certain areas of the country.
Although the application process has not yet started fully,
there are only three documents asked to collect the following papers as preliminary preparation. That is – National Identity Card of Applicant (NID). Colorful picture of passport size and a active mobile number.
Where to apply:
Application forms can be collected directly from the Union Council, Municipality or Councilor Office after the pilot project.
Apart from this, the government is also preparing to launch an online portal for quick application sitting at home.
Only one card will be issued in each family, which can provide monthly cash or daily essentials.
