DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story On Netflix. On September 21st The series stars Evan Peters as the titular murderer and also stars Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. The series explores Dahmer’s gruesome crimes with police failures. Netflix has released an interview with the actor in which he talks about what his research and experience was like to play the character.
In an interview Peters said that I had to do a lot of research to play this character. In addition to reading various crime books and watching interviews with serial killers, there were interviews with Dahmer as well. It was hard to believe that these things really happened. Hearing the actual recordings of Dahmer confessing to the murders was “jaw-dropping” for me.Dahmer’s crimes are terrifying enough. The story will seem more terrifying to the audience due to the real life confessions involved here.

Evan Peters also said in the interview, “I was very passionate about all of his work and trying to dive into this character and commit to playing the character was one of the hardest things in my life. Because I wanted it to be very authentic but for me to do that.” It was really difficult. I have to go through the character to go to a dark place where I have to stay for a long time, maybe there is no need to tell the audience apart how horrible it is for me.

Because the series doesn’t glamorize Dahmer, nor does it sympathize with him, nor does it present him as a hero. It will be streamed by Netflix authorities for entertainment purposes only.
