“In the end, the truth or what happens or occurs is not told in the way it was,” Piqué said during an interview with CNN on October 18, commenting on the media’s coverage of their break. The soccer star, now 37 years old,
revealed that he has nothing to do with how the story has gone in public but claimed to have been “happy” by staying next to his closest people. And, “The best thing is that at the end I am surrounded by my loved ones, my family, my friends, the people who really know you.
They know what you are like and what you do, and that gives me a lot of peace of mind,” he explained.
Piqué has since moved on and is currently in a relationship with Clara Chia Marti, whom he has been dating since 2022. He expressed feeling “very happy”
with where his life is now, appreciating his time with his family and reflecting on his successful football career. “I feel privileged,” he said.
