Application Rules / Recruitment Terms: 10/07/2023 AD. Candidate Age Limit as on: 10/07/2013 AD for General Candidates. Must be between 18 years to 20 years on date. Age limit is 18 to 32 years in case of children of veer freedom fighter/martyr veer freedom fighter and physically challenged candidates. But in case of children of brave freedom fighters/martyr freedom fighters, the age limit is 18 to 20 years.
No affidavit regarding age will be admissible. National Identity Card/Birth Registration Certificate as proof of age. However, in this case copy/slip of online application for obtaining national identity card must be available. Candidates for employment in Govt/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organizations must apply within the prescribed time limit after obtaining permission from the appropriate authority and must produce the said permission during the oral test.
Recruitment will be followed as per the existing rules and regulations of the Government as amended. No TA/DA will be paid for participation in physical measurement, written and oral tests. Any changes/amendments (if any) related to this recruitment notification will be available on the website of the Directorate of Narcotics Control (www.dnc.gov.bd).
If any information provided or documents submitted by the candidate is found to be fake, false or forged or if any fake or fraudulent use is made in the examination, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be canceled and appropriate legal action will be taken against him. At the time of oral examination, all the certificates must be shown in original and the printed copy of the filled application form and 2 copies of passport size photograph must be submitted.
The authority reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate who has passed the examination if wrong information/fake documents are produced. Government policy regarding quota will be followed in selection of candidates. Citizenship certificate issued by the concerned Union Parishad/Municipality/City Corporation should be submitted as proof of permanent citizenship of the district.

Children of Freedom Fighters / Children of Martyred Freedom Fighters / Children of Freedom Fighters / Children of Martyred Freedom Fighters, Orphans, Handicapped, Ansar and VDP and minority ethnic groups candidates should submit the attested copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority along with the original copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority as per the latest government policy while participating in the oral examination. . The sons and daughters of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and their children should submit the certificates issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
Candidates who pass the physical measurement test will be taken up for the written test and those who pass the written test will be considered for the oral test.The candidates selected on the basis of the written and oral test will be issued the appointment letter after final selection in the light of satisfactory police verification and health test report. The same procedure will be followed for filling up the subsequent vacancies from the waiting list prepared from among the candidates who have passed the written and oral examination.
Following the merit list of the candidates and the existing quota system, along with the recommendation of the candidates for the vacant posts, a waiting list will be prepared and reserved from among the qualified candidates in the ratio of 1:2 against each recommended post. If none of the candidates recommended for recruitment does not join the post.
Or in case of resignation from the service after joining the service, if it is necessary to fill the vacant post, the vacant post will be filled from the waiting list as per the instructions of the circular.
