Green visa
This visa is offered to freelancers or self-employed persons, skilled workers and investor visas. Announced in September 2021, the Green Visa is a type of renewable-residence visa that does not require foreigners to rely on a UAE national to sponsor their visa. By this they can sponsor themselves for five years.
Green visa holders are given more benefits, such as the ability to sponsor family members during their stay, including spouses, children and close relatives. The UAE government made a rule in June that parents can sponsor children if they are over 25 years of age. Earlier it was 18 years. 7 years has been extended. Visa holders will have up to six months to renew their resident permit upon cancellation or expiration.
Golden Visa
Golden Visa started being approved from 2020 onwards. Holders of these visas can be long-term renewable residents for up to 10 years. Investors, entrepreneurs or doctors, scientific people and excellent students can apply for Golden Visa. It is introduced to attract and retain the reputation of the country. People from outside the UAE can stay here for as long as they want with a Golden Visa.
Tourist visa
Earlier the valid travel period in UAE was 30 days. Tourist visas allow travelers to travel for up to 60 days. Along with this, a flexible multi-entry tourist visa has also been issued, allowing travelers to stay in the UAE for an additional 30 days.
