In the case of recruitment, the prevailing rules will be followed by the government. Candidate must be a citizen and permanent resident of Bangladesh. The following documents should be attached with the application form:- Original/attested copy of citizenship certificate issued by Municipal Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman/City Corporation Councillor. Photocopies of original certificates of all educational qualifications attested by 1st Class Gazetted Officer. 04 (Four) copies of recent color passport size photograph attested by 1st Class Gazetted Officer. Attested copy of Computer Education Certificate must be attached with the application.

Original copy of Sonali Bank treasury challan to the candidate in favor of Commandant (DIG), Police Training Centre, Tangail (Serial No-01 to 02) for examination fee Rs.200/- (Two hundred) in economic code no-1422326 to be attached with the application form. Candidate’s age limit should be between 18 to below 30 years as on 15/09/2024 AD. However, the age limit is relaxable from 18 to below 32 years in case of children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters/heroes. No affidavit in respect of age is admissible.
In case of children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters/heroes, attested copy of the original certificate signed by the Hon’ble Minister/Advisor of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and countersigned by the Hon’ble Chief Minister/Chief Adviser, Advisor of the Bangladesh Liberation War Affairs Ministry along with the application form in favor of the candidate’s parents or signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Attested copy of certificate countersigned by Hon’ble Chief Minister/Chief Adviser should be attached with the application form. No certificate other than such certificate shall be accepted as freedom fighter certificate. Applicants must participate in written, practical and oral tests.
